Texas School Employee Arrested in Undercover Sting Operation

Harris County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of a former school district employee following an undercover operation targeting online predators.

The suspect allegedly used a social media platform to communicate with what he believed to be a 14-year-old. The account was operated by undercover investigators as part of a broader sting operation.

The individual was charged with online solicitation of a minor, a second-degree felony in Texas carrying a potential sentence of 2 to 20 years.
